  • Characteristics: localised scar growth within the trauma area;
  • Treatment: microneedling for scar, RF microneedling for scar, medical grade plasma, with specific products;
  • Attention: aesthetic plasma devices could not be used for treating scars!
  • Results would be seen quicker with newly formed scars. Treatments could be proceeded once the trauma is healed.
    
• Not applicable for: keloid scars.
  • Characteristics: scar continuously growing outside the trauma area. Referral to clinic for cryotherapy or steroid injection is necessary.
